Sale-a-bration has started! This is Stampin’ Up!’s big semi-annual promotion, with bonuses for shopping, hosting, and joining. One of my favorite selections is the Hippest Hippos stamp set, and there’s even a coordinating die. Each one is available for free with a $50 purchase, and you can select both with a $100 purchase. As always, you can find the link to the supply lists at the bottom of this post.

I think the hippos pair well with the Big Hooray stamp set.

For this first card, the sentiments were stamped directly onto Glimmer Paper using Stazon ink.

To make sure the sentiments were placed correctly, I used my Stamparatus tool. You can place a Window Sheet over your project (that’s the glare you see in the photo) to test out the stamp. If it’s where you want, then remove the window sheet and stamp again, this time onto the project. If it’s not where you want, wipe off the ink from the window sheet and adjust the position till you’re happy with it. I leave a single piece of Window Sheet with my Stamparatus and just keep reusing it.

For this next card, I borrowed the layout from a card on page 61 of the Annual Catalog. It’s a great source of inspiration!

I hope you’ll have a ton of fun with this stamp set!
