After I filled the treat holder from my Gingerbread & Peppermint Workshop with candy, it left a minty smell even after I emptied it. That got me to wondering about how to add scent to my other cards. My friend Jill suggested I could leave the cards in a zip top bag for awhile with some scented oils. And it worked! Just be sure your intended recipient doesn’t have a sensitivity to scents.

Pour several drops of scented oil on a cotton pad. I used Holiday Desserts Fragrance Oil (affiliate link). Place cards inside the bag and add the cotton to the other side. Don’t let them touch or you might get oily spots on your card! To be safe, I placed my cotton pad inside a little glass jar within the bag. Let sit at least overnight.
