Change is Beautiful #3
Paper Pumpkin is Stampin' Up's monthly subscription box. April’s "Change is Beautiful" kit included components for 9 cards—3 each of 3 different designs—along with matching envelopes. Kits always include an exclusive stamp set, a mini ink cube, embellishments, and adhesives.
The intended projects are always fun, but I love to find different ways to use the kits and show their versatility. I loved the clever card in the kit that featured a moon on the front and opens to reveal a sun on the inside! This alternative gives a different way to display the card. As always, you can find a link to the supply list at the bottom of the post.
Here's the tutorial if you'd like to make one:
-Basic Black cardstock
5-1/2” (W) x 4” (H), cut with 3rd largest Stitched Rectangle die (see video for alternative)
2" (W) x 7" (H), scored at 1/2", 4-1/2", 5-1/2", and 6-1/2" along the long side
-Basic White cardstock
3-1/4” (W) x 3-3/4” (H)
-kit cardbase (cut front and back apart)
back: trim off 1/4" from top (see video)
front: trim off 3/16" from each side, 1/8" from bottom, and cut 1/4" tab at top (see video)
May 10th is the last day to sign up for next month’s kit, called Celebrating in Color. There are supplies for cards that feature the new 2022-24 palette of In Colors, along with coordinating envelopes *and gift card holders*. The kit will feature an exclusive stamp set and includes a Stampin Spot in the Basic Gray color. If you‘re in the U.S. and would like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me, I’ll send you a handmade thank you card, and I’ll be sure to let you know when I post new ideas!
