Hi! I’m Vy with Crafting Daily Dose. Welcome to this month’s A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop, featuring alternatives for the October 2025 Cozy Christmas kit.

This kit included supplies for 9 cards, 3 each of 3 designs. Kits always come with an exclusive stamp set, a mini ink cube, embellishments, and adhesives. As of today, refills are still available for this kit.

I wanted to create a simple alternative from the supplies in the kit, and this one is very quick to do! It folds down flat to fit inside an envelope and then opens to stand on its own, showcasing the ornament die cut.

To form the cardbase, simply add a few new score lines (measurements below) and ignore the original one. Fold as shown.

Assemble the ornament die cut and adhere it to the front of the card.

Cut pieces from 2 of the kit panels to create the back of the card, but you can omit the side pieces if you prefer, or substitute with white cardstock. The center panel in the back helps to cover up and stabilize the original score line on the cardbase. Stamp the back panels before adding them to the card. Finish by adding the included sequins for decoration.
