A couple of months ago, I attended Stampin' Up's OnStage convention. It was an event filled with lots of oohing and aahing over pretty products and creative ideas, but the best part was connecting with friends I've made along the way. It's so much fun getting to visit with people I rarely have a chance to see and to meet people I had "known" only online. I spent a lot of the time hanging out with a big group of other Demonstrators who are all part of the same extended team, and you can just imagine the excitement when our very own team leader Susan Campfield got to make a presentation on the main stage! Susan achieved a major sales milestone and got the honor of helping to design a stamp set*. Now if you know Susan, you know that she is not only super talented but also super kind and thoughtful, so it's no surprise that her Phrases & Frames stamp set is designed to include thoughtful sentiments that can be paired together for both the outside and inside of a card. It was thrilling to have an early look at her stamp set and to see the beautiful projects she shared!

I wanted to celebrate Susan and to commemorate her achievement by creating this mini album. The convention was held in Long Beach, so I chose paper and decorations with a Southern California vibe.

Look closely, and you'll notice that the labels come from Phrases & Frames! I love being able to stretch my supplies. Because all the sentiments in the set share the same pair of fonts and many of them are in the same font size, I could do a little creative masking to tweak them. You can also get the same effect by just stamping out the sentiments and cutting them apart to rearrange them. Isn't that fun?!

What's even more fun is that I get to share additional projects with you! This one comes from fellow Demonstrator Carol Rosengren. She is one of Susan's good friends and was among her early team members. Carol makes gorgeous cards, and this one is no exception. That anniversary sentiment is so lovely.
