Early Christmas 2023 #1

Every year, I tell myself that I'll set aside a little time each month to make Christmas cards so that they'll gradually get done throughout the year. Sounds good, right? Well, I've never actually managed to do it before, but I'm determined to make it happen this year! I am not very good at making multiples of the same card, so it's a lot more fun for me to be able to make a lot of different designs.

All 3 of these cards use the Day at the Farm Designer Series Paper, which is available for free during Sale-a-bration, through the end of February or while supplies last. As always, links to the supply lists can be found at the end of the post.

This first card features the Watercolor World image stamped in Shaded Spruce. I die cut the word "JOY" out and stacked 5 additional layers of die cuts in Cherry Cobbler cardstock underneath for dimension and contrast. Using Adhesive Sheets makes it easy to stick them together. The "to the world" was stamped with words from the Nature's Harvest and Timeless Greetings stamp sets.

This next card was made with the Cottage Wreaths stamp and Country Wreaths die. For dimension, I colored pearl embellishments with a Cherry Cobbler Blends marker to create the berries.

I love the contrasts on the last card. The Designer Series Paper and the Natural Finish Ribbon give a rustic look, while the gold ribbon and embossing add some glitz. The sentiment was heat embossed right on the ribbon!

So far so good! Let's see how long I can keep it up this year.
