Hi! I’m Vy with Crafting Daily Dose. Welcome to this month’s A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop, featuring alternatives for the September 2025 Fall for Toile kit.
This kit included supplies for 9 cards, 3 each of 3 designs. Kits always come with an exclusive stamp set, a mini ink cube, embellishments, and adhesives. As of today, refills are still available for this kit.
This is a beautiful kit, and my favorite is the frame die cut, so I wanted to make it stand out even more.

This is a shadowbox card made by adding just a bit to cardstock to the kit supplies. I cut the cardbase in half and cut a a hole in the card front to match the die cut. You can use the measurements I provided below, but it’s easiest just to trace around the inner edge of the frame die cut. This creates a guide that can be cut out with the trimmer or the craft knife tip of the Take Your Pick tool.
For the message panel, I simply used the white back of the back panel. I added a bit of Cajun Craze ink to the corner with a blending brush and then stamped the acorn image with Early Espresso ink.

I used 2 pieces of Pecan Pie cardstock to create accordion-gold supports on the sides of the shadowbox. These connect the front and back panels and create a 3-dimensional shape that allows the card to stand on its own. All that was left was to glue on the sentiment and die cuts!

If you would like to make one too, watch the video and reference the measurements below
Measurements:
- Kit cardbase
TWO 4-1/4" (W) x 5-1/2" (H): on one of the panels, cut
- Pecan Pie cardstock
TWO 2" (W) x 5-1/2" (H), scored at 1/2”, 1”, and 1-1/2” along the short side
