Gifts Galore #3

Paper Pumpkin is Stampin' Up's monthly subscription box. November’s "Gifts Galore" kit included components for 9 large treat boxes—3 each of 3 different designs. Kits always include an exclusive stamp set, a mini ink cube, embellishments, and adhesives.

The intended projects are always beautiful, but I love to find different ways to use the kits and show their versatility. For this alternative, I made a slider card from the stack of presents.

Actually, I made 2 versions! This one holds a gift card!

If you’d like to make one, there’s no time like the present!

Measurements:

-Poppy Parade cardstock

  • 11” (W) x 4-1/4” (H), scored at 5-1/2” along the long side

-Basic White cardstock

  • 5-1/4” (W) x 4” (H)

  • 5-1/4” (W) x 4” (H), cut at just under 2-5/8” and just over 2-5/8” along the long side, from 1/2” to 3-7/8” (see video)

  • 5-1/4” (W) x 3” (H)

  • TWO 1-1/2” (W) x 1/2” (H), scored at 3/4” along the long side

  • OPTIONAL 4-1/4” (W) x 3-1/4” (H), cut at 3/4” and 3-1/2” along the long side, from 3/4” to 3”. Also cut at 1/2” along the short side, from top to 1-3/8” and from 3-3/8” to bottom (see video)

I think this is a really fun card, and I hope you'll like it too!

December 10th is the last day to sign up for this month’s kit, called Lots of Pun. There are supplies for 9 cards, along with coordinating envelopes—3 each of 3 designs. The stamp set is going to be a fun builder set that allows you to change up the cute faces for the images! If you‘re in the U.S. and would like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me, I’ll send you a handmade thank you card, and I’ll be sure to let you know when I post new ideas!
