Handmade & Heartfelt is the ultimate all-in-one kit because it even comes with a card holder for all your creations!

First, here’s a closer look at the cards as originally designed, with few if any tweaks. When putting these together, you can use a shorter length of twine than what the directions say—12” is plenty.

Of course I couldn’t resist playing with the beautiful pieces and creating some more ideas! This is the simplest alternative, just using one of the cardbases on its own without the overlay panel.

I then used that overlay panel with a different cardbase. I cut up the large flower garland and rearranged it so that it fits the curve of the circle opening. Though you can’t see it in the picture, I added Wink of Stella to the flowers and around the outside of the circle for some beautiful shimmer.

For the card below, I combined the Basic Beige overlay (the one with all the small circles to punch out) with the Secret Sea overlay, gluing them together. I adhered this to my own Basic White cardbase and added a sentiment for a clean look.

Next, I cut apart the Lost Lagoon cardbase (with the bird images) and added the coral reef overlay on top, turning it over so the white side shows. I added a sentiment with Basic Beige ink. Then, I trimmed the panels to leave a 1/4 border around each layer before adhering the panels to a Basic White cardbase.

I cut apart the rainbow cardbase and used the front panel for an easel card. I used a piece of Basic White cardstock that was 4-1/2” (W) x 11” (H), scored at 2-3/4” and 5-1/2” along the long side, and then adhered the rainbow panel to the bottom front section. A trimmed flower die cut mounted on a Dimensional foam sticker serves as the stopper for the easel

And finally, I used the rainbow overlay panel on top of a cardbase half and added ink blending for an ombré effect. Here are two different versions: Poppy Parade and Flirty Flamingo inks on the Petal Pink panel (added to a Basic White cardbase), or Secret Sea + Pretty Peacock on the Lost Lagoon panel

(added to the Secret Sea cardbase).
