Welcome to the March 2021 Technique Blog Hop! I’m excited to be part of this fun collaboration with fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrators. It’s a chance to explore new techniques and have fun experimenting. This month, we’re creating a masked grid.
I masked off sections of my paper to create 3 blocks of color in Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, and Bermuda Bay. Within each block, I blended ink and stamped the sprinkles images from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set. The popsicles are stamped from the same set using warm colors for contrast—Magenta Madness, Mango Melody (that’s a lot of M’s!), and Flirty Flamingo. I fussy cut the popsicles and then covered them with clear embossing powder for shine.
