Stampers with Art Stars Celebrate Rachel Tessman
We’re celebrating Stampin’ Up Demonstrator Rachel Tessman today with a blog and Instagram hop! She recently achieved a huge Stampin’ Up milestone with $1 million in sales, and it couldn’t have happened to a nicer person! It’s a testament to her creative brilliance, hard work, and passion!
I am an avid Pinterest user, and when I first started stamping a few years ago, I sought out ideas to explore what might be possible with this new hobby. I realized that time and time again, many of the projects I liked were by Rachel, and I learned so much from seeing them! Fast forward a bit to last year, when I followed a dear friend in joining Stampin’ Up and became a part of Rachel’s team. I basically signed on as a discount shopper because all the product coordination won me over! Although I absolutely love to create cards and could talk about it all day, I didn’t really see myself doing more than my own personal projects. But Rachel gave me the opportunity to be the Showcase Stamper one month, which helped me realize it’s fun to share ideas more broadly. And when there was a lot of interest in a Paper Pumpkin alternative I made, Rachel encouraged me to start a blog and helped me to share it! I’m excited to be doing this blog hop because there might not have been a blog if it weren’t for her cheering me on!
I went back through some of my Pinned ideas and found one of Rachel’s cards that I hadn’t had the opportunity to try yet—a dragonfly closure card, which I really loved. Plus, I recently received one of the butterfly versions that she created, so things have come full circle!
Here is my homage to Rachel! Thank you for all the inspiration and support—you’re the best, Rachel!
