Hi! I’m Vy with Crafting Daily Dose. Welcome to this month’s A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop, featuring alternatives for the December 2025 Watercolor in Bloom kit.

This kit included supplies for 9 cards, 3 each of 3 designs. Kits always come with an exclusive stamp set, a mini ink cube, embellishments, and adhesives. As of today, refills are still available for this kit.

This is a very simple fun-fold alternative that takes advantage of the beautiful laser-cut panel. Reorient the cardbase to the landscape orientation. Trim off a 1” strip from the bottom of the card front and adhere it to the inside of the card.

I love how the sentiments can be combined in different ways! Use a glass mat or grid paper as a guide to line up the desired sentiments, and then press the clear block on top to transfer the stamps to the block—they’ll be all set and perfectly aligned.

Stamp greenery and add the die cut to decorate the panel. Adhere the panel to line up with the new bottom edge of the card front. Note that the panel is just a smidge more narrow than the card front, leaving a little sliver of the cardbase showing on either side; you can trim them to be even if you prefer, but I liked the way it looked.

Finally, add a few sequins to finish the card.

Measurements:

- Kit cardbase

  • 5-1/2" (W) x 7-1/2" (H), scored at 3-1/4” along the long side (existing score line)

  • 5-1/2" (W) x 1" (H)

Thank you so much for visiting! Don’t forget to follow the hop to see other creative projects from our team!
