With Love & Gratitude #2

Paper Pumpkin is Stampin' Up's monthly subscription box. September's "With Love & Gratitude” kit contained supplies for 8 treat bags and 8 mini notecards. Kits always include an exclusive stamp set, a mini ink cube, embellishments, and adhesives.

The intended projects are always fun, but I love to find different ways to use the kits and show their versatility.

You probably know someone who is a pumpkin spice fan, so why not send them a treat they'd like a latte? For this project, I added Crumb Cake cardstock for the coffee cup and Basic White Thick cardstock for the gift card holder. You can substitute cardstock or Designer Series paper for the coffee cup sleeve, and don't forget you can create your own pumpkins with the stamp set in the kit. As always, you can find a link to the supply list at the end of this post.

Watch the tutorial to make your own gift card holder:

-Crumb Cake cardstock

  • 3-1/2" (W) x 8-1/2" (H), scored at 4-1/4" along the long side. Mark folded card 1/2" from each edge along bottom. Cut from right top corner to the right mark; cut from left top corner to the left mark

-Basic White Thick cardstock

  • 2-1/2" (W) x 4-1/2" (H)

  • TWO 3-1/2" (W) x 1/2" (H)

-Kit notecard

  • 7" (W) x 3-1/2" (H), scored at 3-1/2" along the long side. Mark folded card at 2-1/2" from top along the folded edge. Mark at 1/2" and 3" from top along open edge. Cut from top of folded edge to 1/2" mark on the open edge; cut from 2-1/2" mark on the folded edge to 3" mark on the open edge. Fold around "coffee cup" (see video)

October 10th is the last day to sign up for next month’s kit, called Home for the Holidays. This kit makes 8 cards, 4 each of 2 designs. There's even glitter glue for extra sparkle, and it will coordinate with the upcoming November kit. If you‘re in the U.S. and would like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me, I’ll send you a handmade thank you card, and I’ll be sure to let you know when I post new ideas!
