Tent-sational

While I myself am not an outdoorsy person, I have lots of friends and family who are, so I'm pitching this idea for a fun pop-up:

I combined several different products for this card, and as always, the link to supplies is at the end of this list. Once you know how to make the mechanism, you can use it in other ways--like the card I shared using the May 2023 Paper Pumpkin kit.

By the way, I used this example to show my kids over the summer that yes, the math they're learning can be applicable in real life--even in cardmaking!

If you're not a math fan, don't worry because the calculation is all done, and this project is not so in-tents. Watch how to make your own:

Measurements:

-Basic White Thick cardstock

  • 8-1/2” (W) x 5-1/2” (H), scored at 4-1/4” along the long side

-Old Olive cardstock

  • 4” (W) x 5-1/4” (H)

-Basic White cardstock

  • 5” (W) x 1-1/4” (H), scored at 1/2" and 4-5/8" along the long side

-Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper (available soon in the Sept-Dec Mini Catalog)

-Old Olive 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper

  • 6" (W) x 5” (H), scored at 1", 3", and 5" along the long side; and at 1-1/8" and 3-7/8" along the short side (see video)

I hope you'll give it a try!
