Hi! I’m Vy with Crafting Daily Dose. Welcome to this month’s A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop, featuring alternatives for the September 2023 With Love & Gratitude kit.
This kit included supplies for 8 treat bags and 8 mini notecards. Kits always come with an exclusive stamp set, a mini ink cube, embellishments, and adhesives. As of today, refills are still available for this kit.
Today's project is a magic fun fold card that opens in an interesting way. It turns from landscape to portrait orientation, and you get to enjoy the beautiful front panel both ways! Many thanks to my friend Janet Casey for sharing it!
I used Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and Very Vanilla for the message panel. The sentiment is one of the stickers from the coordinating Thoughts of Thanks journal, which has sold out, but you can substitute one of the sentiment labels from the kit. I cut up a treat bag and used die cuts from the kit to decorate the card.
Take a look at how to make one:
Measurements:
-Crumb Cake cardstock
11” (W) x 4-1/4” (H), scored at 5-1/2" along the long side and from the top right corner to 4-1/4" from the right along the bottom edge
4-1/4” (W) x 4-1/4” (H)
-Very Vanilla cardstock
5-1/4” (W) x 4” (H)
-Kit treat bag
4” (W) x 4” (H)
TWO 1” (W) x 4” (H)
Thank you so much for visiting! Don’t forget to follow the hop to see other creative projects from our team!
If you need more inspiration for this kit, I've also shared a trellis card and coffee cup gift card holder.
October 10th is the last day to sign up for this month’s kit, called Home for the Holidays. This kit makes 8 cards, 4 each of 2 designs. There's even glitter glue for extra sparkle, and it will coordinate with the upcoming November kit. If you‘re in the U.S. and would like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me, I’ll send you a handmade thank you card, and I’ll be sure to let you know when I post new ideas!
